Nick Bogle
Network Engineering &
Automation Leader
Network Engineering leader with 10+ years building and leading high-performance networks in enterprise, datacenter, and telecommunications. Seeking engineering leadership roles and consulting engagements in network automation, carrier infrastructure, and ISP operations.
Building Networks That Scale
I'm a engineering leader with a career focused on transforming how large networks operate through automation, modern tooling, and strong engineering culture. My work sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and organizational leadership.
Most recently I served as Director, Network Systems & Architecture at Ziply Fiber, where I led six specialized teams across Software Engineering, DevOps, Systems Infrastructure, Network Automation, and Network Engineering — 50+ people building the platform behind one of the Pacific Northwest's largest fiber ISPs.
I'm currently available for engineering leadership roles and consulting engagements in network automation, ISP operations, and infrastructure architecture. I also founded Packet Solutions (consulting & connectivity brokerage), IonSwitch (hosting & infrastructure), and SpokaneIX. I also serve on the NANOG Program Committee.
